Pregnancy Wellbeing Toolkit

Learning how to look after your wellbeing in pregnancy is really important for you, as well as your baby. However, there is no one-sized fits all approach that will work for everyone. With this in mind we have taken a holistic approach to our Pregnancy Wellbeing Toolkit. We have pulled together a range of evidence-based information and tools that are proven to have a positive impact on your wellbeing during pregnancy.

Whilst the focus of the content in this course is on pregnant women, most of the tools can be used by partners too. In fact, if you are in a relationship, we encourage you to work through this course together. We recognise that pregnancy is a huge time of change for both of you, and learning to alleviate stress and worry during this time will definitely help the process, whilst improving communication and understanding of each others needs.

You will learn

  • How to improve your physical comfort during pregnancy
  • Movement practices to relieve aches and pains, including pelvic girdle pain
  • Breathing techniques to bring calm and relaxation whenever you need it
  • Grounding techniques to help you regain control for those moments of overwhelm

We give you the tools to

  • Build a positive pregnancy mindset
  • Learn how to reduce emotional overwhelm and build resilience
  • Acknowledge what you can control and learn to let go of things you can’t
  • Create and use positive affirmations effectively
  • Identify your strengths and how to use them to improve your wellbeing
  • Recognise negative thinking patterns and explore how to reframe them into more positive habits
  • To get a handle on your inner critic and be kinder to yourself

Finally, we have several deep relaxation practices that you can start to use as frequently as you like throughout your pregnancy. They’ll leave you feeling calm and relaxed, which means your baby will also enjoy a beautiful calm environment, supporting their healthy growth and development. These practices will also help you if you’re struggling to get a good nights sleep!
