Massage is an amazing coping strategy that will enhance your wellbeing in pregnancy AND labour. It can help:
✨ you feel more relaxed
✨ alleviate lower back pain
✨ relieve the build-up of tension in your muscles
✨ release oxytocin #thelovehormone and endorphins (your body's natural pain relievers)
✨ help you conserve energy

It's also a great way to connect with your birth partner, especially if you regularly practice during pregnancy - ideally a couple of times a week.

💜 If your partner is giving you massage, why not set it up as part of date night? Low lighting and candles, relaxing music (or tryout your labour playlist), #aromatherapy oils or a lovely massage oil. A great way to enjoy #newyearseve if you're pregnant and not heading out!
