Who's going a #bonfirenight fireworks display this weekend? Or maybe you've got your own display to set off in the garden?

We love bonfire night - a hot drink on a cold night (hopefully not raining) with a sparkler in hand, watching the bonfire go up and listening to the Ooos and Ahhs as the fireworks light up the sky!

It can be a magical time of year for little ones, but also a time A&E fills up with people suffering burn injuries. Keep your little one's safe...

RoSPA recommends:
💥 Supervise your children closely
💥 Not holding a baby and sparkler at the same time
💥 Avoid giving sparklers to under 5's
💥 Putting spent sparklers straight into a bucket of cold water

If someone does get a burn injury:
💥 Run the burn under cool water for 20 minutes
💥 Remove clothing from or around the burn
💥 Do not put any creams or ointments onto the burn
💥 Cover with clingfilm or a non-adhesive dressing (no fluffy bandages!)
💥 Call 111 for minor injuries and 999 for emergency assistance

👂One final thought, little babies and young children may not love the big bangs...ear defenders are a great investment, and can be used at festivals, big parties or sporting events for years to come.
