hi, I'm Iona
I’m a trauma-informed parental brain educator and UKIHCA-registered health coach with a background in psychology and antenatal education. For eight years, my team and I ran award-winning antenatal classes supporting over 8,000 parents. Over time, I saw how many parents were set up to struggle— expected to do more with less support, while drowning in advice that overlooks the realities and complexities of the transition into parenthood.
My mission is simple but far-reaching: to change the way we support parents so future generations can thrive. By helping parents understand how their brain and body adapt for caregiving — and why caring for themselves is central to their baby’s healthy growth and development — we create ripples of wellbeing that last a lifetime
I take a whole-health approach that integrates body, brain, emotions, and lifestyle. My coaching blends psychology, neuroscience, and trauma-informed practice to help you lean into your new strengths, ease anxiety and overwhelm, and build calm, confidence, and connection from the inside out.
While I’m not a parent myself, my professional training and years of experience working alongside families allow me to bring a grounded, non-judgemental perspective — creating a space where every parent feels seen, supported, and empowered.
